Today I ran out into a dark cold morning, at 6 AM there is nothing but silence and peace in the forest. I met two runners who returned my „hello“ and three zombies, who were not taught about basic rules of human politeness. Never mind, my mission continues, I will continue saying hello to everyone I will meet in the forest. Today I finished with a personal best, I haven’t ran 6 kilometers since May. Life’s strange, some while ago I would not even dress for 6K, today I am thankful for every meter. And the leg seems to be fine so far (knock, knock).
I wanted to tell you something else though. Recently I learned about the story of one beautiful girl called Katka. She is 33 and since May 2018 she’s been fighting with cancer. After 3rd chemo there is no more which can help, her last chance is immunotherapy. At this point the mighty insurance corporation comes into game, with its main target to NOT PAY. Only one of many examples, where a human life has absolutely no meaning for these companies and people. NO MEANING. Katka was forced to start a public donation and that is the point where me and YOU come into game. My leg still doesn’t allow to start a new running project, thus I am sending few EUR to Katka straight away. I am thinking how much it would be, if every single of my online contacts or followers would donate at least ONE EUR. I know that is not possible, but if only few of you send few EUR, that is already a lot. How was it? Few people can change the whole world…
Maybe you will say there is plenty of such donations and why exactly this one. I don’t know why, I don’t know Katka… But… She is a fighter and I just felt like helping. And I’d love to see you helping too.
