I finished my Hong Kong adventure with a short running race of 5 kilometers on Sunday, it was again something new – this is a distance I have never run before in a race. Believe or not, much different comparing to the Seoul marathon from last week. Since I didn’t run the whole week, I had only one goal, under 20 minutes, or in the sports language „SUB 20“! I started a way to fast and killed myself on the kilometer nr. 1, which I did in 3:41. The following 4 I was suffering a lot. Finally, it was very close but I made it – my first 5K in 19:55, rank 19 out of 157 runners. I still have much space to improve on the 5K, but better I get back to long running for now. 🙂
